Beclovent (beclomethasone): is a steeoid inhaler and is used as maintenance to keep inflammation in the airways under control. It works long term and does not have immediate effects on the dilating the airways in case of an attack

Agree: with Dr Mumneh, will add that some physicians will recommend increasing inhaled steroids during times of an exacerbation, but this is in addition to beta-agonists and/or systemic steroids.
