Sun-damage: The most common causing a yellow discoloration of the white of the eyes is called a pinguecula. It is caused by sun damage. An ominous cause is the accumulation of bilirubin in the sclera of the eyes. This cause is cancer until proven otherwise. See an eye doctor for evaluation.
