A member asked:

When your eye ball are yellow?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Liver disease: When the whites of the eyes appear yellow it is most often related to liver disease. The eyes normally appear white because the layer covering it called the conjunctiva is transparent. However in people with liver problems a pigment called bilirubin builds up in the bloodstream and can accumulate in this normally transparent membrane turning it yellow.
