ADEK: you need dietary fats to help you absorb fat soluble vitamins A, D, E and K. Without a minimum amount of fat in the diet, one could become deficient in any of these vitamins, causing night blindness ( A), bone problems-osteopenia (D), nerve and position sense problems (E) and bleeding problems ( too little vitamin K)
