When you start your antithyroid medication, how long does it take for you to feel better?

Hyperthyroid treatmt: If you are hyperthyroid (eg. Graves disease) and start on a proper dose of methimazole, it may take several weeks for the T4 level to go down and for you to feel better. This is why beta blockers are often used; they don't affect the T4, but they help you feel better right away.
