Hyperthyroid treatmt: If you are hyperthyroid (eg. Graves disease) and start on a proper dose of methimazole, it may take several weeks for the T4 level to go down and for you to feel better. This is why beta blockers are often used; they don't affect the T4, but they help you feel better right away.

Thyroid medication. I am using NeoMercazole 10mg per day but am not sure that my blood work is showing a real improvent: TSH from Nov was <0.01 and this month same. Free T4 was 74 now 24. Antithyroglobulen was 332 now 207. Antithyroid was 224 now 210?
