A member asked:

When should treatment begin when the nhl is in lymph nodes and bone marrow?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Immediately: When nhl is defined in a localized area one can apply excision and radiation therapy to evaluate extent of control. With marrow involvement the disease cant be controlled as noted above and one must employ immunochemotherapy, that is CHOPP-Rituxin. At times one can introduce CART cells and other new forms of immunotherapy to control the disease.
