When should i be worried about petechiae?

Maybe now: If you are known to have low platelets due to cancer or a bone marrow or immune disorder, and your doctor knows this, you probably needn't worry. If however your doctor does NOT know you have low platelets and the petechiae have just appeared you should be seen TODAY for a platelet count.
