Love Handles: All exercise helps with love handles by increasing the muscle to fat ratios. Although there is no such thing as spot reducing, abdominal crunches and side-to-side abdominal exercises will definitely help tone your midsection as well as burn fat. Women put more weight on around their middles because of their hormones.

Exercise.: To get rid of fat in general, exercise is the rule. Once we pass our mid-30s, our metabolism starts to slow down and fat deposits more easily onto our bodies, especially in the area you mentioned. We can speed up our metabolism through aerobic and weight training exercise. Cardio will help you burn away those love handles.
