Need more info. : Three vessels supply the bowel. If one is blocked, the others can help with the blood flow. No symptoms...so no procedure. Now if the superior mesenteric artery is the one blocked, and you are losing weight, and/or having abdominal pain after you eat, then you will need to have the vessel treated with stent or surgery. Same for the celiac axis and sometimes for the inferior mesenteric artery.
