Not much: It is likely safer than combusted cigarettes, but the safety is really unknown. The vehicle includes ethylene glycol, the safety of which when inhaled is unknown. In addition there are flavorings, colorings, additives and preservatives, and unknown ingredients, since they don't really have to report what is in them. They do produce lots of nicotine, some formaldehyde and carbon monoxide.
