My progesterone dropped at 5 weeks preg. to 6 from 14, dr put me on supplements. will this stop a chromosome miscarriage. i wouldn't want it to. i wold rather have it miscarry. i am now 8 weeks?

It won't : Save an abnormal pregnancy under any circumstances, but it may prolong an inevitable miscarriage. Progesterone cannot rescue any fetal problem; it may be effective in cases of luteal phase defect. I'm sorry for your stressful situation!

Progesterone : Progesterone supplementation is supportive in early pregnancy but it will not prevent a miscarriage that was genetically destined to occur.
