Less calories: Raw takes longer time to eat, and slows you down, Im assuming mostly fruits and vegetables, so lower in calories as well, which is high in fiber and help in blood sugar control and weight loss. I don't suggest raw meat or fish due to parasites and bacteria. (especially in ground meat, chicken or turkey. Good luck to you
