Likely Tachycardia: It depends on where the stab was and the underlying tissue/organs damaged. - If the aorta is lacerated, the individual would exsanguinate. Leading to a response secondary to decreased pressure of increased heart rate, and vasoconstriction. Regardless, if Aorta is affected, death is more than likely - If aorta is spared. Imagine sepsis, due to perforated bowel, also leading to tachycardia.
