It is thought that : boys have more disruptive behaviors & girls are under-represented in school-aged kids with average to above-average IQ's & a Specific Learning Disorder in Reading, Written Expression & Math +/- ADHD. 70% of girls with ADHD have Primarily Inattentive Type; most boys with ADHD have Combined Type. Intellectual Disability from X-linked genetic disorders is seen in boys; girls are less affected.
