What happens if you were a parent with a child with special needs what would you want to know about special education (sped laws, the process of evaluation, etc)?

Special Education : There are federal guidelines for children with special education and state regulations. The federal regulations can be found at http://idea.ed.gov/. Information on 504 plans can be found at http://www2.ed.gov/about/offices/list/ocr/504faq.html. You can also look up the regulations that your state has made on top of the federal mandates.
