What to look for: A good start would be to seek out a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. The American Society of Plastic Surgeons has a search tool at www.plasticsurgery.org. Also word of mouth recommendations are helpful from other patients. Meet with a surgeon and make sure you are comfortable with them. It doesn't hurt to meet with more than one as well. Good luck!

Start wtih ASPS: "Best" is subjective, we all have our own opinions. Surgeons who get Boarded by the American Board of Plastic Surgery have a much more rigorous and comprehensive training, so ensuring the surgeon is Board Certified in Plastic Surgery is a great place to start. The American Society of Plastic Surgeons has a very nice "find a doctor" section.
