Are vaccines stronger than other kinds of drugs?

Hard to say: If you prevent an accident by having breaks on your car,is that stronger than the medical treatment you get after a wreck? Vaccines mimic the infection process and enable your system to build preventive antibodies without experiencing the disease. Is that stronger than an antibiotic that would treat it?
