A member asked:

Is it possible for my 7 month old with larynogomalacia to have a reaction to second hand cigarette smoke of a stuffy nose, temp of 99-100.5 & sneezing?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Second hand smoke : Exposure to second hand smoke can certainly cause nasal symptoms in babies and children. Additionally, exposure to secondhand smoke is a risk factor for the development of many conditions. It is of great importance to attempt to remove the child from any secondhand smoke exposure. Please encourage any smokers you know to quit.
