Infection?: How high is the temperature? Does the child have any discolored nasal discharge which may point to a sinus infection ? Having allergy alone does not prevent one from getting a cold either. Talk to your doctor again since allergic disease is not usually associated with a fever.

Added problem: Her drainage may have attracted a cold virus or other problem.If she's feeding well and playful you can probably just monitor this at home.If she is feeding poorly ans acting "sick" another visit would be in order.
