Hypomineralization: The excessive brushing may have irritated or cut his gums, or his gums may have already been inflamed from bacteria caught around his teeth. That's assuming that the blood is coming from his gums and he's not spitting or coughing it up

See a dentist: Bleeding gums can be a sign that you are at risk for, or already have, gum disease. Untreated gingivitis can lead to the tooth loss and other health problems. See your dentist ASAP because the sooner you treat it the better the outcome.
