i have red pimples around my mouth on one side that occurs every now and then is this herpes and what is the treatment ?

Mouth pimples: Herpes will first appear with grouped vesicles on an erythematous base. Clear pustules. These can also be painful. If it is herpes the treatment is symptomatic at first with ointment. In more severe cases acyclovir or other antivirals may be used. Take a b complex vitamin each day. Good luck and feel better.

Herpes: Herpes does not usually have pus. 75% of americans have oral herpes. It is diagnosed by blood test. But if there is pus it is a pimple.

Most likely not: Herpes usually is a bunch of blisters. very painful. this could be a hair bump. but to make accurate dx it needs to be looked at by a doctor
