Autism d/t nutition?: I have not heard of this etiology to arrive at a diagnosis of autism disorder. Researchers have found an overall low intake of calcium and protein. Many parents report that their children’s autism symptoms and related medical issues improve when they remove casein (milk protein) and gluten (wheat protein) from their diets. Other nutritional plans could improve overall nutrition, if well designed

Odd assumption: In a hard to define and treat problem like autism, many theories come and go and decades pass without clear explanations or treatment.Studies of the genetic code has begun to show many affected kids with deletions or insertion of bad information in the code. The condition likely has several contributing factors. To this date, supportive training and care are the limit of effective treatment.

Signs of Autistic : Spectrum Disorder vary with age. Use the M-CHAT screen on firstsigns.org or www.healthychildren.org/English/health-issues/conditions/Autism/Pages/How-Doctors-Screen-for-Autism.aspx. Treatment is individualized for a child's developmental age & degree of autism
