Should be ok: i won't worry about it. Just make sure that you rinse your retainer multiple times with water to remove any residues.

Not to worry: We recommend that all removable appliances, including dentures/retainers/mouth guards/night guards/etc be gently brushed 2x/day w toothbrush (no toothpaste) and soaked in denture cleaner 1x/day for at least time printed on package instructions. Longer is not a problem. Just rinse thoroughly.
