Hyperparathyroid: Your parathyroid level may be high because of low vitamin D. 50000 units once a month for 3 months should have your vitamin D up to normal. Please have your doctor measure your Parathyroid hormone, serum calcium, and serum vitamin D. Only then can you know what is going on. You may need to see an endocrinologist.
