Knee effusion : Knee effusions can be from inflammatory arthritis, trauma w/who meniscus tears, hemarthrosis but what is surprising to me is that you have this for 10 years!. See a rheumatologist that can aspirate your fluid and analysis can show for example inflammation. Also blood work can ruled out Lyme disease for example, do it now since large amount of fluid is not normal.
