What is the most important question to ask the oncologist before starting chemotherapy?

Benefit, side effect: First: is this a curable or palliative treatment? May ask the oncologist to go over current guideline with you, especially the NCCN guideline. Second: what are the benefits including response rate, survival benefit, and quality of life benefit. Third: how is the medicine given?
