No.: If you're not having any symptoms such as constipation, hard stools or gas, you aren't getting too much fiber. Most of us get too little fiber. Since fiber isn't digestible by humans, it won't have any other physiological adverse effect. There is some evidence that eating foods high in fiber (as opposed to taking fiber supplements) MAY lower the risk of colon cancer.
