Yes: The short answer is yes. The question is why? Alprazolam aka Xanax (alprazolam) is a very short acting benzodiazepine. It is highly addictive and often causes rebound anxiety. 0.5 mg is a relatively low dose, but it is important to think about why you are taking it. It is always better not to take anything you don't really need
