A member asked:

Wrist pain that's constant with any movement no swelling or injury just came upon extremely sore when i first wake up i notice a swollen vain?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Tendonitis: First off, the swollen vein may not be significant. The painful wrist can develop from a poor position during sleep, it may subside with immobilization of the joint (an ACE bandage) to limit motion, but not so tight that it may cause swelling of the hand. On the other hand it may go away on its own.
