Not especially: Artane is an anticholinergic, and that class of medications is not useful for treating adhd. If the hyperactivity is caused by some other factor such as anxiety or side effect from another medication, Artane may "slow" a child, but the effect is through sedation and not specific and tends to wear off over time.
