Only at night: Artane (trihexphenidyl) is a muscle relaxant that is sedating. Hydroxyzine pamoate (Vistaril) is an antihistamine that is also used for anxiety, and sedation . Because of the sedation, the two should be taken only before going to sleep, not during the day.
