See a doctor: If you have chest pressure it may be anxiety, respiratory problems, esophageal reflux, esophageal spasm, or any other cardiac problem. some folks with mitral valve prolapse also experience this and a doctor would need to diagnose your problem after a physical exam and some testing if it does not resolve on its own.

ThisSwallowAintABird: If that feeling doesn't go away in a couple of days or food comes back up after swallowing or Increasing chest pain then maybe you should see a doctor. But first, don't eat spicy foods or any citrus and try an antacid like Tums (calcium carbonate) or Mylanta.Probably you just have a scratch somewhere in your esophagus(I'm assuming you can swallow normally and whatever you swallowed went all the way into your stomach).
