Unlikely: It is unlikely you will have toxic effects from this, & you will probably not notice any changes. But you must at all times avoid solutions that are discolored or otherwise changed from normal appearance. Doubtful: Rare if ever are "rubber shards" in injection fluid- I would be more concerned with the possible long term effects of injected steroids: you waited 18 years to ask this question?
