A member asked:

Had never started a period and after lots of testing diagnosed with pof, on estrogen gel and provera (medroxyprogesterone). period only lasts 1 day, does this right?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Very likely OK: Light vaginal bleeding in response to some estrogen and some protestin is to be expected in general but may not necessarily tell if the amount of these hormones is sufficient to treat your "POF". You may need to consult your Gyn-Reproductive endocrinologist for ensuring that you are receiving enough estrogens . An oral estrogen may be much more effective and preferable at your age.
