Your doctor's right: Almost certainly. Leave it alone. I'm going to assume it's freely movable and not fixed to surrounding structures. Many people your age have these. If it's anything nasty, it would have declared itself. I trust you do not have a dominant breast lump or obvious illness that you're ignoring.
