A member asked:

What medications are used to treat all, a type of leukemia?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Combination chemo: The drug choicees are variable among different age groups. Children with ALL are commonly treated with Vincristine/ Prednisone initially and later receive 6MP and Methotrexate. In adults we tend to use Cyclophosphamide, Adriamycin (doxorubicin) vicristine and Dexamethasone. L-Asparaginase is commonly used but only in children. In Ph+ve patients Imatinib is added as well.
