Depends...: Internal bleeding can come from many things: trauma (as in auto accident or injury), rupture of tubal pregnancy, etc. Usually, significant internal bleeding will cause the bowel to "shut down." Nausea, vomiting, lack of appetite, abdominal bloating and tenderness would be common symptoms. It is possible to have a small amount of bleeding and NOT know it. Check with your doctor. LGromko MD
