Therapy may help: if it truly is tendinitis then the mainstays of treatment are rest, splinting and anti inflammatory meds. If that is not helping you may benefit from some therapy

Ice/rest: Most tendonitis improved with conservative treatment that includes: rest, ice ( 15' on and off for 2 hours) and anti-inflammatories like ibuprofen for example. Splints can help but make sure a physician or experienced physical therapist recommend this splints because they are different types. Also if not improved maybe is not just tendonitis for example can be carpal tunnel syndrome or arthritis.
