After waiting 3 months for 2nd ct scan after multiple lung nodules are found in smoker, what is the likelihood of it being cancer? largest being 7.5m

Possible: The 2nd CT should show if any of the lung nodules is increasing in size which would indicate possible cancer..otherwise multiple nodules thar are stable may suggest granulomatous inflammation (rounded collections of inflammatory cells)
