Cause for 2 soft, immovable, painless lumps in abdomen; ruq (3") and luq (4"), medial and directly inferior to the rib cage?

Depends: if just under the skin they are likely lipomas. Anytime you have a new mass it should be examined by a physician. in the place you described a lipoma is most common and is typically just below the skin level, but these are generally slightly mobil.
