Many causes: There are many causes of back pain, most are annoying but not dangerous. Impossible to tell what might be causing your back pain without a lot more information. Maybe you need to get a 2nd opinion. Good luck.

Pain: If the know is indeed on your spine then you probably do need to get checked. Either try another Doctor or you may be able to be evaluated at an urgent care or ER.
