Unclear: It is hard to tie these things together. Bactrim (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim) can occasionally lower platelet counts which would make it easier to bruise. But if there is just one bruise and you are off the medication you might watch and see. If you continue to have bruising problems, have any bleeding, or are still concerned then see your doctor.

Yes: There can be several blood related side effects with Bactrim (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim) so I would see your physician to be sure
