I'm pretty sure a: doc that doesn't you personally won't prescribe a new telemedecine patient a controlled substance like a benzodiazepine. The problem w/benzos, depending on their duration, is they cause rebound anxiety, so you are yo-yoing on pills. If you have panic attacks, you may consider clonidine or a beta blocker, but those have risks too, like dropping your blood pressure. Advise CBT & live visits w/doc.
