Vague: Hard to say what is going on without knowledge of the history, condition of the tooth, and whether there was infection present. I would go back and ask questions or get a second personal opinion.

Post op eval: Are you still having difficulty swallowing following the removal of your wisdom tooth? Your post is not very clear. If so, please see the surgeon who extracted the tooth.

No: The difficulty swallowing associated with the wisdom tooth was likely related to infection. After the tooth was extracted, the swallowing problem would have dissipated. If it persists, see the oral surgeon. He may have to refer you to an ENT doc.

Back to normal: Many patients complain of difficulty swallowing before and after wisdom tooth surgery. Your symptoms suggest towards infection developed at the wisdom tooth site. Be patient and allow your tissues to heal for 10-14 days and you will be back to normal. Take care.
