Surgery: You had surgery. Tissues get bruised. Takes time to heal. If you're concerned, of if you don't feel a little better every day, return to your Dentist or Oral Surgeon for reevaluation.

Not uncommon: The area is inflamed from the procedure. Follow your surgeon's directions and take pain meds as needed.
