A member asked:

If someone touched the genitals of another who has hpv, then touched another object, can that object transmit hpv to someone else who touches it?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

HPV: The precise answer is yes. If the viral particles are carried from hand (genital01) to object to hand to genital02 AND the viral particles find an entryway. But, it is fortunately somewhat unlikely. The virus can be destroyed by various things at any point in the transfer, but it is theoretically possible. For example, don't 'share' vibrators.
