Nasal spray: Some OTC nose sprays can help temporarily open the passage on the more narrow side of your nose. Saline is weaker but safer. Try it first. The strongest sprays list as sinus sprays on the label. BreatheRight strips can open the nostril some , too.

Deviated septum: A deviates septum is not an uncommon problem. It can lead to nasal obstruction, snoring and even sinus issues. Surgery is the only treatment. But you only need surgery if you are having symptoms.If there are symptoms like nasal obstruction, snoring or recurrent sinusitis, have your nose evaluated by a board certified otolaryngologist.
