Possible gastroenteritis: The acute onset of diarrhea, nausea, and right-sided abdominal pain most likely is indicative of gastroenteritis, usually viral. It is importantto maintain adequate hydration. Drink more fluids than you think you need, particularly water or electrolyte solutions. If you have high fever, the pain worsens, or new symptoms develop, or if these last longer than 2 to 3 days, see your doctor. Good luck.
