Stone may have: broken or mismeasured in the first place.No matter what- keep an eye on stones and symptoms.

Possible: The size of a gall stone as determined by ultrasound is not exact and is highly dependent on the location, orientation etc. There is evidence that medications (urodisol) may help decrease size of stones. In infants gallstones may resolve spontaneously. In adults, gallstones which form during rapid weight loss may resolve spontaneously.
