L spine, ct scan came back normal, only have lower back pain. no uti, stones, etc. would l spine show lower back tumor? dr. says l spine was normal?

MRI: Not likely cancer. Consider a non-contrast MRI of ls spine with flexion and extension, orthopedic or rehab doctor evaluation. May just be muscular, or sacroiliac joint.
